Corporate Social Responsibility
At Khan Solicitors, we pride ourselves on both our contribution to our local communities and the contribution we make to under-privileged communities around the world through our Corporate Social Responsibility programmes.
Our managing director, Anjum Tahirkheli, is founder and chief executive of international non-governmental organisation and registered charity, Basic Human Rights. The charity is based at our Bradford headquarters in the UK and we support their humanitarian work with women and children in developing countries.
We want to encourage more businesses to get involved in the work of Basic Human Rights by not only providing aid, but helping create a long term sustainable future for disadvantaged communities by ensuring that young people fulfil their potential. Visit www.basichumanrights.org.uk to find out more.
As well as creating hundreds of local jobs for local people here in Bradford in the UK, we have also run a hugely successful work experience programme for school children, students and graduates from the local area for the past 10 years. We invest a huge amount of time, training and resource into giving our interns valuable skills and experience and act as life time mentors to them. If you are interested in working with us, contact us.
Also, two senior members of our team, Mohammed Sarwar Khan and Balaal Hussain Khan, give back to the local community through their roles as president and secretary of Manningham Mills Cricket Club.
